In order to change your logo, you need to go to "Appearance" and then "customize" then click on "Header" and "Site Identity" - Here there is the option to Change Logo, you would need to select "Upload Files" and "Select Files" to browse to the location where the new logo is stored, select this and crop if required, and change width accordingly, finally when clicking publish this will apply the changes to your website.
